The Soul of the Estate
The Mejou adventure began in 1998. Christiane and André left their family home to settle just a few steps away. Instead of parting with it, they decided to offer Avel Mor for seasonal rental, giving it a second life.
In 2003, upon retirement, André could not bring himself to leave his carpentry workshop silent. He then embarked on a long-term project: patiently transforming his former workspaces into exceptional lofts.
With his craftsman's hands, the change took place: Ty Agathe was born in 2004, followed by Ty Tania in 2006 — names chosen in tribute to their granddaughters. In 2008, Avel Mor was modernized with the opening of the living areas and the creation of a large wooden terrace.
The estate expanded further with Ty Papy in 2010. Finally, in 2021, André took advantage of the quiet of the lockdowns to imagine one last cocoon: Ty Labour ("The Workshop"), completed in 2023 in memory of his carpentry trade.
